Soft Eye Makeup Featuring the Naked 3 Palette

Soft Eye Makeup Featuring the Naked 3 Palette

I am a glasses wearer- no suprise. And frankly I've been avoiding doing makeup tutorials because they are hard to do on myself. I can't take pictures and apply at the same time and frankly for me to apply my makeup- I generally have to be 2 inches from the mirror to even SEE what I'm doing.

Soooo, I did the best I could.

So since I haven't really been going out lately, I haven't been wearing anything intense for awhile.

However, soft makeup is great. It's easy, looks nice, and is appropriate for a lot of situations- like meeting the parents or something.

So here's what's up.

Here's a picture for reference when I list the names I used below. You can prooooobably dupe these with drugstore stuff- I just don't know what exactly. You'll probably have to ask the almighty google.

Apply a light vanilla type shade on the lids. I used "Strange".

Apply it on the brow bone too.

Using a fluffy, bendy blendy brush, swirl "Limit" around in the crease. (This shade I would describe as a mauve/taupe.)

Use the same brush with a little bit of "Nooner" and run it in the deepest part of your crease. (This shade is basically "Limit" but deeper).

Then tap a rose gold on top of your lids- I used "Burnout". Super pretty.

Then I grabbed the tiniest bit of "Darkside", a grey/mauve and swished it back and forth and up and down in the other 1/3 of my eye. I used like, the tiniiiieesstt amount. I want dimension as opposed to smoke.

Then barely drag it into the crease to blend it together.

Add more if you feel like it.

Same color, different brush. I applied it on the upper and lower lashline.

Tightline the upper lid with a black pencil. I used one of the Jordana gel liners.

Apply an inner corner highlight. I like the NYX jumbo pencil in either "Milk" if you want a matte white, or "Cottage Cheese" for shimmer.

Then mascara. I used the Jordana one I love. For more info, LOOK AT ALMOST EVERY OTHER MAKEUP BLOG I WROTE. (lulz)

And that's pretty much it. It's a very soft look, great for everyday wear.

Plus it looks good with glasses on or off.

Rest of the face:
Foundation: Mary Kay Time Wise Matte-wear Liquid Foundation
Blush: TheBalm Instain Blush in Argyle (lightly, cause my face is pretty red today.)
Bronzer: Benefit Hoola Bronzer
Lip: Revlon kissable balm stain in Honey.
Brow: Maybelline define a brow (dark blonde)
